A spectacularpair of diamond earrings from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 18k gold and sterling silver setting, each earring begins with a circular surmount, which features an old mine cut diamond. The diamond is held within a bezel setting, which is further decorated by milgrain detailing, and an exterior circular frame. The earrings then transform into a unique "love knot" motif, and the entire twisting surface is decorated with bead-set rose cut diamonds. The bottom of each earring features two more old one cut diamonds, which are held within six-prong settings, and further surrounded by a floral motif frame. Overall, the six old mine cut diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of 1.50ctw. The earrings are completed by simple earring wires. A magnificent pair, these earrings would be perfect for a special event!

Measurements:Each earring hangs approximately 1 1/2" in total length. The earrings measure 1/2" at their widest point.

Condition:The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or sterling silver setting, and all of the diamonds are secure and intact. The earring wires are firmly attached and in working order.
